
Barry
Lobdell lives in the village of Saranac Lake, located in the
heart of the Adirondack Park in northern New York State. His
photography centers around the mountains and waterways which surround
him, as well as
other landscapes explored while traveling in the United States, England
and Canada.
His introduction to
photography came while he was a
university student and he has pursued it creatively ever since. He is a
member of the Adirondack Artists Guild, which consists of a group of
artists living and working in the six million acre Adirondack Park.
In addition to having his
photographs on continuing
display at
the
Artists Guild gallery in Saranac Lake, Barry's work is held in many
private and public collections. His photographs have been honored in
both national and regional competitions and have been published in many
forms throughout his career.
He works with both
standard
format and panoramic cameras, utilizing both a digital slr and a
film-based panoramic camera. Photographs are available in limited
editions of varying sizes.
